Heart... live at SF Masonic... I had the privilege once again to shoot this legendary band in action... and as usual they brought the roof down, but I must say that Ann's vocals were at the best I've seen in years, Nancy of course mesmerized us with her unique voice and signature guitar... This was a tour not to miss ...
Here's a bit from the night...More to come...
I had the opportunity to catch Orgy once again. This time hot off their newest US Tour as they stopped off in San Jose's newest and best Rock venue... Here's a bit from the night:
I had the opportunity to work with Bay Area based musician Mark Blasquez recently as he is working on multiple upcoming and on-going projects. We strove to capture a few shots to be used in his upcoming EP as well as portraits for his acoustic and publishing projects. Finding that we had a common ground of artistic ideas and vocabulary made this a great shoot and looks like we will be collaborating in the future. Below are a few shots from our day...
1st stop on their Co-Headlining Tour.. Smashing Pumpkins and Marilyn Manson kick off the US Tour with a great... great show. Here's a bit from the night:

I had the honor to shoot some of the shots for this great essay published on SFweekly; the feature showcases SF residents with tattoo artwork based on San Francisco iconic images. My subject Alex Novoa, had a amazing array of work which happened to be done by a family member of mine, my cousin and a great artist, Orio Guevera, who can be found at Rose Gold Tattoo on Haight Street:

The SF Oasis is alive and breathing with life, music and drama... if you haven't been to the newly re-opened Oasis you need to make your way down to a performance. With SF's top notch Drag perfomers, the Oasis is a prime spot to hit if you want something a little creative and fun!!

Celebrating 22 years... DG brought 2 nights of the darkness we love them for.... I ended up there on night 2. Filled with an evening of great performances by, Striplicker, Suicide Queen, The Vile Augury, Limnus & Every Thing Goes Cold...

I knew this would be a great session as I was going to be working again with one of my favorite clients, Steve Harwell better known as the front man of SmashMouth. And what a fun time it was getting to know all the boys of this new project! Radio Angel is the melding of members from two great bands, SmashMouth and Third Eye Blind. We started our day indoors doing studio shots then went on location and found some great places for the look the band was after. Here's a few shots from the day:
What a trip... Sold Out Show at London's Borderline! I traveled oceans and countries and had an experience of a lifetime and the best part was shooting among the crowd at this show. Trapt, brought venom to the stage.. I don't think half these kids knew what hit them. Here's a bit of a snapshot of the performances that night...
Death Valley High and some of my favorite San Francisco musicians hit the stage as main support and gave us the sexy, hard hitting beats and heavy guitar & bass we know and love! If you don't know what I mean get over to their page and check it!!
City Of Ashes, the first comers to the show for the evening surprised us with some amazing pipes and a dose of UK rock. I was told these boys drove hours to be a part of the night and so happy they made the trek!
